The natural variation in the thickness of the bamboo poles (approx. 10–28 mm) gives the mat its distinctive, playful look and ensures that it is attractively priced. Like all Budget models, this mat also has an open top. This distinguishes it from our Moso and Giant bamboo mats, which have a closed top and are more uniformly sorted for a more luxurious, robust look. Shortening this bamboo mat is easy: cut the binding wire, remove the bamboo poles you don’t need, and tie the wire back tightly. This way, you can easily adjust the width to suit your needs.
