Looking for bamboo roller blinds for your home? At Eviro Bamboo, you’ll find a wide range of natural bamboo blinds in different colours, designs and sizes. Choose from our Freddy, Zoë and Lena collections, each with its own bamboo texture and level of light filtering. Whether you want more privacy, less direct sunlight or natural window coverings, discover the bamboo blinds that best suit your interior.
Bamboo window blinds are a practical way to control daylight and privacy while adding a natural touch to your interior. They work well in living rooms, bedrooms, kitchens, home offices and conservatories.
Natural bamboo roller blinds are particularly suitable for light, Scandinavian and rustic interiors. Brown bamboo blinds provide a warmer, darker appearance and combine well with wooden furniture and earthy colours.
Unlike fully blackout blinds, bamboo allows some daylight to filter through its natural structure. The amount of light depends on the model and how closely the bamboo slats are woven together.
At Eviro Bamboo, we offer three indoor bamboo roller blind collections: Freddy, Zoë and Lena. Each model has a different appearance and level of light filtering, allowing you to choose the right balance between privacy and natural daylight.
Freddy is available in natural and brown bamboo and has a closely woven bamboo structure. If you’re looking for bamboo blinds that provide plenty of privacy and reduce incoming sunlight, Freddy is an excellent choice.
This model offers up to approximately 80% light blocking, making it one of the most effective options in our indoor collection. Some daylight can still pass through the bamboo, so it is not a completely blackout blind.
Freddy is available in widths from 60 to 160 cm, increasing in 10 cm increments. This wide selection makes it easier to find a suitable size for both narrow and wider windows.
Zoë is another popular collection, available in both natural and brown bamboo. Its distinctive bamboo structure creates a different appearance and allows slightly more daylight to filter through compared with Freddy.
With approximately 70% light blocking, Zoë provides a good balance between privacy and natural light. It is particularly suitable for living rooms, kitchens and other spaces where you want to reduce direct sunlight without making the room too dark.
Like Freddy, Zoë is available in widths from 60 to 160 cm, in increments of 10 cm.
Lena is available in brown bamboo and has its own distinctive texture and appearance. With approximately 60% light blocking, this model allows more daylight into the room than Freddy and Zoë.
Lena is available in a smaller selection of sizes, making it a suitable option if you’re looking for brown bamboo window blinds with a more light-filtering structure.
In addition to indoor bamboo blinds, we also offer outdoor bamboo roller blinds made from Indonesian bamboo. These blinds have a more robust construction and are designed for use in sheltered outdoor spaces such as verandas, covered terraces and balconies.
Our outdoor bamboo blinds feature durable nylon cords and a sturdy pulley system, allowing you to raise and lower the blind easily. They are available in natural and dark bamboo finishes.
Thanks to their closely arranged bamboo slats, these blinds provide a high level of privacy and block approximately 80% of incoming light. This makes them useful for creating shade beneath a veranda or covered terrace.
Please note: Although these bamboo blinds are suitable for sheltered outdoor use, we do not recommend leaving them exposed to continuous rain or prolonged moisture. During wet periods or in autumn, it is best to take them indoors to help extend their lifespan.
Our bamboo roller blinds are available in a wide selection of dimensions, making it easier to find the right size for your windows or doors.
For indoor use, our standard lengths are 160 cm and 220 cm, depending on the model. Freddy and Zoë are available in widths ranging from 60 to 160 cm, in 10 cm increments.
Popular widths include:
Whether you have a small kitchen window or a wider living room window, there are plenty of sizes to choose from.
Our indoor bamboo roller blinds come with the necessary mounting accessories and can be installed inside or outside the window recess. Depending on your window and the available space, you can attach the blind to the wall, ceiling or window frame.
Before installation, measure the window carefully and decide where you want to position the blind. Make sure there is enough room for the rolled-up bamboo and that the operating mechanism can move freely.
Tip: The mounting accessories are packed inside the rolled-up blind. Unroll the bamboo completely to find them before starting installation.
Start by measuring the width and height of the window or recess where you want to install the blind.
If you’re fitting the blind inside the window recess, allow a few millimetres of clearance so it fits comfortably. For installation outside the recess, you can choose a blind slightly wider than the window to provide better coverage and privacy.
If none of the available widths fits exactly, you can also shorten certain bamboo roller blinds yourself.
Yes, our bamboo roller blinds can be shortened in width using suitable tools.
First, roll the blind tightly and secure both ends with tape. Measure and mark the amount you want to remove, then carefully cut the rolled bamboo to the required width using a suitable saw.
After cutting, smooth any rough edges and remove the tape. Make sure the operating cords and mechanism remain intact.
Since Freddy and Zoë are already available in 10 cm width increments, you may be able to find a suitable size without making any adjustments.
Although shortening a bamboo roller blind in height is technically possible, we generally advise against it. The rolling mechanism and construction are not designed for easy adjustment.
Our indoor bamboo roller blinds are available in standard lengths of 160 and 220 cm. If the blind is longer than your window, you can simply leave part of it rolled up.
Bamboo roller blinds can be installed on a wall, ceiling or window frame using the supplied mounting accessories.
Make sure the brackets are securely attached and that the blind hangs straight before using it. Always choose fixings suitable for the surface you’re mounting it on.
Remember to unroll the blind completely to locate the mounting accessories packed inside.
Our dedicated outdoor bamboo roller blinds are suitable for sheltered areas such as covered terraces, verandas and balconies.
However, bamboo is a natural material and prolonged exposure to moisture can cause discolouration or mould. We recommend keeping the blinds protected from continuous rain and storing them indoors during extended periods of wet weather.
Our Freddy, Zoë and Lena collections are intended for indoor use.
The amount of light blocked depends on the model and the density of its bamboo structure.
None of our bamboo roller blinds is completely blackout. If reducing daylight and increasing privacy are your main priorities, Freddy and our outdoor models offer the highest levels of light blocking.
